Return overview
If you need to return a product, please contact us to discuss within 24 hours of receiving using email info@howsyourheadwigs.com or our contact form.
If your return is agreed, we’ll provide our returns address to send your package. You must cover the cost of shipping the return. Store credit for the value of returned items is provided on your account, which you can use on future orders through our website.
Styled wigs are bespoke items and cannot be returned.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and in its original packaging. Due to health protection and hygiene reasons, our products are shipped in protective hair nets. You may take wigs out of their bags to look at the colour and length, however returned items must not have been taken out of their protective nets. The fibres must be undisturbed and unworn to be accepted back. If an item has been removed from its original wig net, brushed, tangled or worn, a deduction from 15% up to 100% will be applied for reconditioning or disposal.
Please note any import duties, customs fees, local VAT, or clearance taxes charged by your destination country are paid directly to your local government customs authority and are completely non-refundable. If you choose to exercise your right of withdrawal, we cannot refund any customs fees or import taxes incurred during delivery.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days to complete the return.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on styled wigs, sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
EU customers have 14 days in which you can cancel an order after placing it.
If you live in European Union, you can change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items. You do not need to give a reason.
You will be responsible for bearing the direct cost of returning the goods back to us. Items must be sent back using a reliable trackable courier service of your choice within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.

Credits
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically sent a credit to use on our website for the value of the returned items. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@howsyourheadwigs.com.
Credits will be made within 14 days. The original shipping fees and any reductions will be deducted from the refund total.
If returning more than one item, a 20% restocking fee will also be deducted from the value of the credit.
